Does your Auto-Uploader need to watch files over a network with a domain?

We have found in some instances that the Auto-Uploader service needs to be granted access to a user account instead of the local system user in order to see files over a shared network drive on the network.

To do this simply view the properties of the Auto-Uploader service:

  • Right click on the service and click "Properties"
  • Select the the "Log on" tab
  • Under "Log on as" select this account and type in your domain user name and password
  • Apply the changes and restart the Auto-Uploader system service
