Data-Loader Auto-delete events

Hi J,

I've run the data-loader script a few times and I am stuck with extra events. For example the clippers have tevo event id 143865 & 210745

The 210745 event is correct. The 143865 event is from prior to the lockout, I know you have marked some of these events as canceled but this one snuck through. (The 143865 event no longer shows up in your exchange but it is in my local db.)

Shouldn't the data-loader script delete old/invalid events?

Do I need to manually find and delete these events?

  Until last week there was no way for the API to communicate deleted events so they could be removed. There are now four extra (as yet undocumented) endpoints "/events/deleted", "/categories/deleted", "/performers/deleted" and "venues/deleted" which only return deleted items. I have the code finished for these in the PHP LIbrary including updates to the data loaders. I just need to do some more testing and I will push it out next week if not sooner.

  Yeah, I'll publish some details.

   

  We're also working on new API documentation at http://developer.ticketevolution.com/overview There's still some things to be done there but we're going to be showing usable examples in different languages as well as the ability to put in your own credentials so that the examples will work for you if you copy/paste.
